Tony says:
A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken a new action. If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided.
Tony Robbins
What are you taking action on today?
(yes I really want to know what you’re up to :))

Can’t get much clearer than this:
Was wishing just this morning that I had a Kindle so I could (immediately) get Seth Godin’s latest - “Linchpin: are you indispensable?” …. arrgghh!!
So many gadgets so little time - thinking iphone apps are in my future too - means I need a Mac and an iphone now - oy.
Thing is - I’m not sure I want to be indispensable … is that weird?
(but I DO ‘get’ the niche market message - you?)

The message of persistence and resourcefulness seem to be coming to me from all directions these last few days.
Since each incident has been inspiring singly, but even more clarifying as a group - seems to make sense to post them all here
First stop - askdarlenedavis.com
Darlene is a coaching student and friend who, despite personal challenges, never fails to keep on trying and taking baby (and some days not so baby) steps forward. Each time adding to her online [...] Continue Reading…

“A habit is something you can do without thinking - which is why most of us have so many of them.” ~Frank A. Clark
Day 2
I realized this morning that, not only am I creating a new habit of (literally) sending out appreciation, but I’m also changing the habit of not tuning into the appreciation I have for other people.
This is a 43 year old habit (until yesterday - grin) of NOT taking the time each morning to pause for [...] Continue Reading…

For me there’s no other day quite so excellent and free of … well … free of all things unpleasant as the first day of a New Year.
Or maybe it’s this New Year.
As is my typical m.o. … there’s plenty on the ‘ol plate
And yet somehow I’m feeling completely relaxed and confident that everything will unfold perfectly.
Plus this morning, while Skyping with my friend Mark, I had an inspired moment that is well suited to a New Years resolution.
Now, [...] Continue Reading…

One of the most critical skills (& I’m still learning) in my marketing career is the ability to write compelling copy.
I believe copywriting is one of the CORE foundational skills that every marketer needs to have to succeed.
If you can write copy - good copy - you can basically
write your own ticket.
This just in from David Frey:
(btw this is a serious opportunity to learn from the ‘real deal’
copywriters of our time - for free)
The COPYWRITING MASTERS TELESUMMIT!

As always (for me) Abraham - even when picked apart and interpreted by Jerry and Esther is a little too much in the philosophical (and not-clearly actionable) zone.
But now and again - one of their daily messages catches my attention … this one sure did.
Consider these two subjects. Which way do you pass your days thinking?
The subject of money is really two subjects: (1) money, plenty of money, and (2) absence of money, not nearly enough money. Often [...] Continue Reading…

Special thanks to my friend Rob for sending me this.
Two Choices
What would you do? …you make the choice. Don’t look for a punch line, there isn’t one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice?
At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated [...] Continue Reading…

Getting organic search traffic on Google is something that many people wish they knew how to do, but very few are actually teaching. I have two favorite (excellent) resources for learning just exactly what to do and how to do it, which I’ll share below.
Got this question about Hubpages recently - and figured my reply should help more than just one person (name changed for privacy)

I’ve always found it tough to bridge the gap between the way I think and the way people who think things happen to them think.
It’s like we’re speaking two completely different languages … which I guess we really are.
Or maybe it’s more like same language different interpretations. No doubt everyone sees the world through their own lens.Image by Clover_1 via Flickr

Been receiving a Note from the Universe for several years now. Sometimes it hits home - sometimes not.
Today’s is spot on with what I know to be true about building a business (any kind of business) online.
You can grab your own daily dose here.
My take away from it is this:
The more you know, the more value you have to offer.
The more value you actively offer, the more audience you have.
The more audience you have [...] Continue Reading…

In marketing - price point is one of those things that weighs in on -
how you promote
what sort of copy you write
who you’ll be marketing to
whether your mindset is ‘right’ for the product
It’s that mindset point (my mindset) that was given a little kick in the hiney as I was watching this video from one of my mlm mastermind partners - Adam Holland.
It’s a great 17minute training on setting up marketing funnels that really made me stop and think [...] Continue Reading…
